Team Dashboard

Team Dashboard

Inertia-Technology provides 3 portals (Users, HSEQ team and Auditors). The users get a portal that is clear and simple to use on a desktop or mobile device. This portal is for your staff and visitors and is tightly controlled to give them the necessary access to resources in a clear and meaningful way.

The User Portal

The main function of the user portal is to exchange and collect information about coal face HSEQ matters. Some of our clients are in CBD offices whilst others are on remote sites. Both have granular access to the site or sites to which they belong.

There are also dedicated features for those classed as supervisors.

The take away is that if a worker on a remote site can pick up their phone and do a pre-start against an asset without any training then we have definitely got something right! The balance of resourceful handling of data and ease of use sets InTech apart.

The “User” Dashboard

NOTE: The HSEQ team have a far more fully featured portal (not pictured)

This is where we share essential information that a staff member needs to know; particularly if there is an issue on site.

  • Supervisor: This is the primary team member that the logged in user reports to
  • Alternate Supervisor: If the primary is not working (for example due to shift rotations or being absent) then this is the next contact
  • Managers: These are an arbitrary list of managers and there role in regards to the site. For example: “Jon Smith | Site Supervisor | Contact re: PPE orders” – basically a way of indicating to the team member who they should approach for what – you get to pick.
  • Safety Officer: This is the responsible person for safety on a site.
  • Site Details: This is the primary site the team member is working on (they can review other sites under the site link on the left hand tool bar). This section (off screen) includes a map of the site.

User Dashboard Summary

This has been a quick introduction to the user/team/staff portal. Some points to remember:

  • You choose which team members have access to what data
  • You can set up training and inductions to be undertaken online
  • Users can fill in forms, do pre-starts, schedule maintenance, flag events for action by supervisors
  • Users & Supervisors can show their or their teams qualifications including download the relevant certificates on site.

Your compliance steps are managed in real time. Should a need arise each staff member with a phone carries around the resources to resolve any inspection or audit:

  • Show me that you have access to the relevant HSEQ staff to report incidents to
  • Show me that you are qualified to operate this machine
  • Show me that you have inspected this machine prior to using it today (pre-start).

Assets – Tagging Out

InTech has a really strong solution for managing tagging out assets. Tagging out is the process of identifying that there is an issue with an asset and it should not be used until it is fixed. There can be many reasons for tagging out an asset but the most important is ensuring the safety of your staff.

In this image below there is an asset that has been tagged out. It could be that someone goes to use the asset on the following shift but they are immediately alerted to the fact it has been tagged out and only supervisors or the HSEQ team can tag it back in to the asset pool.

Until then the team member cannot undertake pre-starts and other tasks pertaining to that asset.

Closing Comments

This is just a taste of what the user portal can do that is productive and could add value to your business tomorrow.

I would welcome the opportunity to have a discussion with you or undertake an end to end demo should you have the time. Either way I can work around your needs and interests.
